Strategy/ProductsOur History

TORA Trading Software was developed on the buy-side and has been in production since 2000. After its proprietary launch, the growth in electronic trading and the demand for Asia-specific solutions led TORA to market its platform to an external audience for the first time starting in 2004. TORA's strong Development Team has overseen the trading system from its inception and has continually refined both its functionality and reliability, in response to the evolving needs of their clients. The team's proven expertise in delivering Asian trading solutions gives TORA the flexibility to integrate with a broad range of third-party risk and order management technologies. In early 2005, TORA established its Trading Services group to meet the growing demand from funds for a cost-efficient alternative to setting up their own Asia trading operations. TORA's Trading Desk is based in San Francisco, California and staffed by a full NASD-registered team of traders. TORA is compliant with United States SEC and NASD securities law and adheres to the strictest code of client confidentiality.
