| Job Description |
Procurement Manager will build strong partnerships with local teams, offering procurement expertise based on category strategy, market insight, and supplier innovation. Supports the business with cost-effective solutions while ensuring compliance with local regulations and procurement KPIs. Description * Manage €30M annual spend across 40 suppliers. * Act as local procurement lead with a focus on diversity and compliance. * Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., business, legal, quality). * Implement procurement strategies and drive standardization. * Ensure regulatory and policy compliance. * Lead process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. * Support supply continuity and vendor performance management. Profile A successful candidate should have: * Over 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project coordination in a global, cross-functional setting. * Familiarity with tech-related products and services, including installation and maintenance, with a solid understanding of compliance matters. * Fluent in both Japanese and English (TOEIC 750+ or equivalent). * Strong stakeholder management skills across commercial, market, and quality functions. * Customer-oriented mindset with a firm commitment to regulatory adherence. * Able to challenge established ways of working and drive change constructively. * Candidate must be based in Japan and/or have valid working visa Job Offer * A competitive salary package. * A chance to work in a strategic position in a large organization. * An opportunity to make significant contributions to the Life Science industry. * A supportive and professional work environment in central Tokyo. * A permanent role with room for personal and professional growth. * Hybrid working style with 2 days work from home allowance and flex time.
