[Car performance analysis at a major manufacturer] Work at a major manufacturer to carry out development work related to the crash performance of four-wheeled vehicles. ■Crash test data analysis ・Collect and analyze actual crash test data. ・Evaluate vehicle behavior and occupant safety during a crash and identify areas for improvement. ■Model development summary ・Formulate design guidelines to meet crash safety performance requirements when developing new vehicle models. ・Develop vehicles that comply with each country's crash regulations and NCAP (New Car Assessment Program). ■Occupant CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) ・Use CAE technology to simulate occupant safety. ・Analyze occupant movement and load during a crash to optimally position and design safety devices. ■Technology development and accuracy improvement ・Aim to develop crash simulation technology and improve its accuracy. ・Consider the introduction of new analysis methods and tools to improve the consistency between actual test results and simulation results. |
