Job Description The AI contract review platform "LegalForce", officially released in April 2019, is growing at an astonishing speed with the number of companies adopting it surpassing 2,500 (as of September 2022), and more and more companies are becoming interested in it.
In addition, the AI contract management system "LegalForce Cabine" has received a great deal of feedback since its official release in January 2021, and the number of companies that have introduced the system has exceeded 800 (as of March 2023).

Currently, the SRE team works with development teams in two roles
Embedded SREs, who are deeply embedded in a specific development team and work together to improve the team and product, and Dedicated SREs, who work across the organization to promote SRE practices and provide a common foundation.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the company's systems as the company's Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

- Ensure the reliability of our products from a technical perspective to ensure stable service delivery
- Ensure high reliability of LegalOn Technologies' services by focusing on availability, latency, performance, and capacity
- Provide a low-latency, cost-effective, flexible infrastructure to support rapid software development and smooth operation of LegalOn Technologies' services

■Responsibilities
Specifically, you will be expected to be responsible for the following tasks
- Building and maintaining tools and processes to automate the operation, monitoring, and management of the system
- Design and implementation of alerting and monitoring systems
- Creating scripts and building automation to reduce toiling
- Work with development teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize system architecture
- Design and implement solutions to improve system reliability and scalability

You will also work with the following teams
- Product development teams such as LegalForce, LegalForce Cabine, and Global (US) responsible for customer-facing product development
- Internal service development teams for natural language processing, full text search, review, etc. used within the product
- R&D teams responsible for machine learning and annotation functions used internally

Requirements		 【Required】
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or SRE
- Experience managing systems using Linux and Linux container technologies (Docker, LXC, etc.)
- Experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.
- Experience managing or developing container orchestration (Kubernetes, AWS ECS, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Japanese communication skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent experience)

【Preferred】
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related technical area
- IAM or organizational management experience with public cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience building machine learning infrastructure and pipelines
- Experience managing search engines such as Elasticsearch or Solr
- Experience in handling system failures such as high server load or low database throughput
- Experience in SRE perspectives such as error budgeting and post-mortem
- Experience in study groups and presentations at conferences
- Knowledge of issues related to the operation of large-scale distributed systems, such as scalability, fault tolerance, and consistency
- Experience as a contributor or maintainer of open source software projects
- Experience reading and practicing the contents of SRE books such as "SRE Site Reliability Engineering" (published by O'Reilly), or a willingness to do so.
