Job Description ■Introduction
The company develops and provides "Backlog", "Cacoo", and "Nulab Pass" in order to "create "I'm glad to work with this team" all over the world.

The company, which has three services, has reviewed the SRE work done by each service and started the SRE Section in 2019 to conduct improvement activities across services. To improve the developer experience and productivity, the Platform Engineering team, which promotes the Internal Developer Platform, is looking for new members to accelerate the project.

▽You will work as an SRE for Backlog, a project management tool used by approximately 1.29 million users* in Japan and abroad, and for Nulab accounts, a common account infrastructure.
In addition, as an engineer, you will be involved in improving the operation and architecture of the cloud-native environment that supports the SaaS products that continue to grow and expand, and improving the developer experience.
*As of December 31, 2023. Total number of users using Backlog within paid subscriptions (including users invited by subscribers and using the same space).

■Required
We are looking for candidates who meet all of the following requirements

Experience (5+ years) in continuous problem identification/improvement/efficiency improvement/operation of web applications
Experience using cloud-based services such as Amazon Web Service (AWS) (private cloud experience is also acceptable)
Experience with Kubernetes (Kubernetes 1.25 or higher / experience using Kubernetes in a production environment) and basic knowledge of containers
Ability to communicate in English (mainly reading and writing) (translation tools are available)
 ∟ Experience in business English or using English in a work environment is not required.

・Experience designing Microservices architecture
・Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana
・Basic knowledge of Linux networking stack (netfilter, iptables, etc.)
・Experience with AWS
・Knowledge of Kubernetes internal implementation and experience implementing custom controllers
