About the Department and Services Features/Strengths: The company is building the “Rakuten Economic Zone” by leveraging the market scale of “Rakuten Points,” which have surpassed 3 trillion yen in cumulative value issued, by collaborating with Rakuten Group companies, and by introducing cashless payment services at real stores, which are growing at an accelerating pace. The System Division handles everything from system service planning related to payment services, planning and implementation related to UI/UX, basic and detailed system design, coding, testing, and operation. Recruitment Background: As the business grows, the scope of Rakuten Pay service operations is expanding, and the company is looking for people who can operate the service together with us. By taking charge of the operation of the service, which handles a large amount of traffic, from Rakuten Pay apps to payment infrastructure and external collaborations, you will gain knowledge of the world's infrastructure and cultivate rare operational skills through activities to ensure the stable operation of the service. Job Overview: As a system engineer, you will be responsible for implementing service maintenance operations and improving service maintenance operations to ensure stable operation of the service so that users and merchants can use Rakuten Pay with peace of mind on a daily basis. Service maintenance and operation here refers to operations necessary to maintain service operation, such as service monitoring, fault investigation and management, and routine operations. In carrying out these tasks, you will need to collaborate with back-end and mobile development staff, maintenance and operation staff from other services, and other departments, so you will need to have good communication skills.
