Job Description |
【Major Responsibilities】 • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Japanese defense landscape and decision-making process. • Manage and grow business with key defense clients and related organizations. • Build relationships with key partners in the defense industry in Japan to strengthen the company's presence. • Drive long-term customer satisfaction through effective relationship building and acting as a "trusted advisor". • Develop account development plans and deal strategies aligned with business objectives. • Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities. • Lead proposal development in collaboration with internal stakeholders including business development, engineering, and project teams. • Achieve annual targets for new business, revenue, and account expansion. • Maintain and grow a healthy deal pipeline in the Japanese market for future growth. 【During Project Execution】 • Participate in high-level project reviews and customer meetings as required. • Monitor customer feedback and appropriately raise and address project concerns. • Work with project delivery teams to address customer needs and resolve issues quickly. |
Company Info | We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead the development of trusting relationships with key Japanese defense stakeholders. Job Requirements |
【Required Experience and Qualifications】 •Native level Japanese and fluent English (business level). •10 to 15 years of work experience in the Japanese defense industry or related project-based environment. •Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, or related field. •Proven track record in business development, customer relationship management, and account expansion. •Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with senior government and industry stakeholders. •Ability to understand and navigate complex sales cycles and long procurement processes. •Strong self-motivated and able to work in a team. •Strong and trusted network of relationships with the Japanese government, Ministry of Defense, and global companies. •Ability to collaborate across departments and work in an international team environment. |
