Job Description This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the procurement of materials, primarily metal components, for the manufacturing of electronic parts in the automotive industry across the Japan/ASEAN region. You will work collaboratively with internal teams to optimize procurement strategies, reduce costs, and support the company's overall objectives.


Description

* Manage the procurement of metal materials, ensuring alignment with production needs and cost objectives.
* Analyze and negotiate quotes for materials, working to secure the best possible terms and improve cost-efficiency.
* Contribute to the development of mid- to long-term supplier strategies, optimize production locations, and enhance supply chain management to increase profitability.
* Utilize SAP to collect and analyze procurement data, generating relevant reports and documentation.
* Manage invoicing and system processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution.


Profile

* Proven experience in procurement, particularly in new product development projects or cost improvement activities for existing products.
* Strong ability to conduct cost analysis of procurement materials and identify opportunities for optimization.
* Experience in confidently negotiating and managing supplier relationships, both internally and externally.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and lead cross-functional initiatives with a proactive, positive, and solution-oriented approach.
* Experience in handling procurement challenges, including price negotiations and resolving supply chain disruptions.
