The Business Development-Alliance Manager is a pivotal role , focusing on fostering in-out licensing and strategic partnerships . The role involves working closely with the C-Suite level to developing strategic plans, and implementing collaborative initiatives. Description * In-Licensing: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate partnerships for acquiring innovative drug candidates or technologies that align with the company's strategic goals. Conduct due diligence, assess market potential, and secure licensing agreements. * Out-Licensing: Develop and execute strategies to out-license the company's assets to third-party organizations. Negotiate licensing terms, manage contracts, and ensure the partner meets agreed milestones. * Alliance Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, ensuring effective collaboration throughout the lifecycle of the partnership. Monitor performance, manage expectations, and resolve any issues that arise. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and facilitate communication between stakeholders. Profile * 5+ years of experience of business development in the pharmaceutical industry, which includes one of the following: 1) Out-licensing, 2)In-licensing or 3) Alliance management * Bachelor's degree in science or business * Understanding of the Japanese pharmaceutical industry, including regulations * Business level English (reading/writing skills are a must.)
