Job Description As one of Japan's top manufacturers of electronic circuit boards, the company is trusted to provide a stable supply to global customers from domestic and overseas production bases. One of its strengths is being able to handle everything from printed wiring boards to implementation in one factory.
We are looking for someone to take on a quality assurance managerial role (department manager level) for our factories both in Japan and overseas.
We are looking for someone to take on the role of factory quality assurance manager, as we plan to assign you to an overseas factory 2-3 years after joining the company.

[Factory training: 6 months to 1 year after joining]

- Deepen your understanding of the products and the field

[Head office duties: Estimated 1.5 to 2 years after joining]

- Oversee serious defects that occur at the factory and customer reports on quality improvement activities
- Analyze customer quality and plan quality improvement for the entire company

[Factory quality assurance department: Estimated 2 to 3 years onwards]

- Manage the factory quality assurance department, prioritizing overseas factories

(Expected assignment period is about 3 to 5 years. After that, we expect you to play an active role as a manager at the headquarters.)

*You will be provided with accommodation near Hanoi, and you will commute to work by shuttle bus

■Number of people in domestic departments: 21 people in the Quality Assurance Department (15 men, 6 women)

This time, assigned to Division 3 (6 people, 1 of which is female) (dealing with quality assurance defects)

Foreign nationality: 1 person (transferred from a Chinese local subsidiary)
■Vietnam (Hanoi Factory *scheduled to be assigned to one of the two Vietnamese factories or the new factory):
Number of people in the factory: 5719 people (as of the end of December) + another 665 people (as of the end of December) = a total of 6384 people, but scheduled to be assigned to one of the factories
Number of Japanese expatriates: about 30 people in both factories
Of the 100 or so people in quality assurance per factory, 1 department manager, 2 section managers, several sales people, and the rest are factory engineers

■Experience dealing with customers as a quality assurance employee
■Ability to work overseas
■Management experience (experience managing around 100 people is preferred)
