Job Description |
[HR Talk] We are hiring a Business Development Manager (Japan) to handle Casino Sales for the Business Development team at INSPIRE Entertainment Resort. We are seeking candidates with over 7 years of total business development experience, including at least 3 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. Given the nature of the role, frequent global communication with various stakeholders, including headquarters, is required. Therefore, we prefer candidates who can clearly communicate their opinions in both Japanese and a second foreign language (English). Please refer to the job description below for more details. [Position Summary] Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the Business Development Manager is responsible for driving Casino revenues through the execution of Sales Initiatives and the on-going development of key contacts within the regional office in which he/she is assigned. [Primary Duties and Responsibilities] • From the Regional Office in which assigned; recruit and develop relationships with potential Guests and Agents, arrange sales trips, execute events and sales initiatives that build relationships and facilitate resort visitation • Introduces and develops business from an established personal network of customers; drives referrals from key contacts and incentives for guest visitation. • Work alongside Property based Sales & Service teams that provide 5 star+ service to support the external sales teams. |

Job Requirements |
[Minimum Education and Qualifications] 1. Mandatory • Candidates with over 7 years of total business development experience, including at least 3 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. • Excellent English, Korean, Chinese or Japanese written and communication skills (based on assigned Regional Sales Office) • Ability to work independently & unsupervised to lead, manage and develop a highly motivated team. • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills • Attention to detail, organized and plans his/her time accordingly to ensure deadlines are hit. • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive matters. • Maintaining confidentiality within the organization and protect any information classified as confidential. • Maintaining honesty and integrity with superior, subordinates and guests 2. Nice to have • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Sales, Marketing, Business, or other related fields preferred, but not essential • 3+ years of hand-on experience in Casino Integrated Resort Business Development within Asia preferred • Established & proven connections to customers and Agents • General knowledge of Casino Management Systems preferred 3. Desired Characteristics • Great communicator, great negotiator, Self-motivated, Inter-personal & proactive to build positive relationships and linkages to internal departments and external groups. • 100% customer driven providing all guests with 5-star service; impeccable ability to handle and positively resolve customer complaints. |
