**Job Description** -Ensuring customer (internal/external) satisfaction -Evaluating product quality and coordinating and facilitating communication between customers and manufacturing plants -Responsible for complaint handling (0km/field) -Manage overall APQP (Product Quality Planning) activities -Implementing change management -Responding to internal and external audits -Working with plant engineers to promote quality control operations Job Description -Initial analysis of parts returned by customers -Analyzing returned parts including 0km defects from OEM customers and complaints from the market (field complaints) -As a customer liaison, leading further analysis in the Japan office or external labs as necessary -Emphasis on good communication and relationship building with customers -Problem solving activities -Resolving problems using quality-related methods such as the 8D method, A3 method, FTA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and fishbone diagrams - Work with quality engineers at manufacturing plants to report to customers and ensure 8D cycle time reduction and high quality level - Implement measures as required - Plan and execute actions such as sorting, inspection, and re-flashing - Responsible for creating work instructions, managing OK/NOK quantities, and cost management - Prepare quality-related reports - Prepare internal and external quality reports (internal quality reports, quality presentations for customers, etc.) - Coordinate customer audits - Coordinate preparation and follow-up of customer audits with manufacturing plants - Coordinate PPAP-related work - Coordinate collection and submission of customer PPAPs (Production Approval Application) and ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports), and change management - Team leadership and education - Lead members of the Japan office and conduct quality-related training - Lead internal and layered audits from a continuous improvement perspective |

Desired candidates: [Requirements] - 5+ years of experience as an office quality engineer or process quality engineer in the automotive parts supplier industry - Japanese - Business level - English - Fluent - Experience working at a Tier 1 automotive parts supplier - Ability to travel domestically and internationally (China/Singapore/Indonesia/others) (expected travel frequency is 10-20%) - Customer-oriented mindset [Preferred conditions] - Knowledge of automotive electronics production - Knowledge and experience of quality audit methods (e.g. certified auditor) - Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering - International work experience/overseas work experience - Chinese - Daily conversation level - Experience working with Toyota, Nissan, Honda, or other JOEMs (Japanese OEMs) - Knowledge of IATF16949, VDA6.3, Six Sigma design requirements (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA, SPC, etc.) |
