Job Description |
We mainly propose optimal import/export plans to manufacturers and trading companies that export and import goods. We support trade by finding the optimal combination from among the many transportation methods available. We are a salesperson who can do large-scale work that moves the world. In addition, because we are a non-asset company that does not own ships or trucks, we can hone our sales skills and ability to build relationships with customers. ■Clients ━━━━━━━ Across all industries, from small to large companies. It is common to see products from companies that I have been involved in importing and exporting in the city, which is one of the rewards of the job. ■What kind of requests do we receive (examples) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ▼Request After moving our production base from Japan to China, we were unable to know the status of cargo transportation in real time and were unable to adjust our production volume, which led to excess inventory. In addition, when local problems occur, there is a time lag in understanding the situation. We want to import more safely and efficiently. ▼Services provided By making full use of our base in China, we have established a system that allows us to immediately grasp the situation that would not be possible without being on-site and report it in detail. When a problem occurs, our local employees can directly check the situation and provide detailed follow-up without any time lag. In addition, we have made it possible to check the latest transportation status without contacting sales staff using our own cargo search service. ▼Results Because we can grasp the latest transportation status of cargo without lead time, we have been able to maintain appropriate inventory levels, and have been able to correct unnecessary costs in manufacturing. This has also led to new orders, as customers feel safe knowing that we will respond quickly when a problem occurs on-site. In order to hear the customer's issues and requests and present solutions, it is essential to have knowledge of trade, as well as predictive analysis of the customer's business and social situation, but please rest assured that we do not intend to entrust you with complex tasks immediately after joining the company! There will also be no cold calling. [Process after joining the company] First, you will learn through OJT training. You will start by learning the rules of trade and an overview of our company's services. After that, you will understand the flow of work through practical work under the guidance of your seniors. We expect that you will aim to become independent while being entrusted with tasks and roles according to each person's knowledge, experience, and proficiency. Because we are engaged in a unique business, it is natural that there will be things you do not understand! We will explain as simply as possible to those who ask "I do not understand what I do not understand." If you have any questions, please feel free to ask your seniors. At that time, let's dig deeper into what is important, such as cost and delivery date. ▼Proposal/Estimate To solve problems, propose transportation routes, transportation methods, delivery dates, costs, etc. We can provide total solutions by utilizing our vast network of 30 company bases and many partner companies in China and Southeast Asian countries, our extensive know-how based on our track record, and our own expertise. ▼Order After receiving the contract, we will carry out the procedures for operation, such as coordinating local shipping, arranging for a transport company, adjusting schedules, and coordinating with Japanese customs clearance.
