Job Description As Project Manager of the Data Governance Office, you will be responsible for:

- Defining, initiating, and scoping projects.
- Defining a plan and approach for delivering the determined scope and requirements.
- Clarifying roles and responsibilities.
- Ensuring all aspects of the projects are clear and documented.
- Ensuring that stakeholders agree and approve the scope, requirements, project changes if applicable, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consistently providing updates on the status to the Project Sponsor and stakeholders by means of Weekly Status Reports, Steering Committee, or other requested meetings.
- Successfully managing project risks, issues, assumptions, and other dependency.
Working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure the successful delivery of projects, with minimal business impact.
- Managing projects to successful completion (on time, to cost, achieving the objectives).
- Managing projects in adherence to internal project management standards and methodology.

And more specifically for the Data Retention Program (DRP):
- Working with business and system teams to understand and document their datasets and their associated requirements.
- Liaising with Legal, privacy, and compliance teams to identify regulatory requirements for retaining or deleting data
- Joining the Data Retention Program team and its constituent projects seamlessly and without impacting stakeholders.
- Working closely with other core team members and supporting them so they can perform well in their assigned roles.
- Creating and maintaining accurate and detailed instructions for Companies, Services, and Departments that are required to participate in the Program.

Requirements
- 3 years of IT, governance, or other relevant project management and BA experience.
- Proven track record in scoping, planning, and prioritization of complex IT projects.
- Proficient in Project Management practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, learn quickly, seek answers proactively.
- Proven ability to understand and manage conflicting viewpoints and find a ‘middle way’.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous and attached to details
