Full-Time English Teaching Position – Yokohama Hayato Junior and Senior High School Yokohama Hayato Junior and Senior High School is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time English teacher to join our team. If you're eager to grow professionally in a private school setting and support students in using their English skills to shape their futures, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact. 【Roles and Responsibilities】 As a full-time English teacher, your responsibilities will include classroom instruction, homeroom supervision, school-related duties, and involvement in extracurricular activities: ・Independently teach English classes to high school students, with a focus on skills such as presentation, paragraph writing, and debating. ・Conduct daily homeroom sessions in English (morning and afternoon), including greetings, schedule confirmation, and general announcements. ・Lead and coordinate after-school club activities. ・Develop lesson plans, grade assignments, and provide feedback. ・Prepare, administer, and evaluate midterm and final exams. 【About the International Language Course】 This program is designed with two key objectives: 1. Enhancing English communication skills through an English-centered curriculum. 2. Fostering global awareness through a wide range of cultural and international learning experiences. These pillars support our mission to prepare students for success in a globalized world. ・Currently, six native English-speaking teachers are part of the International Language Course. ・The school actively participates in competitive English speech contests and is committed to ongoing internationalization. ・An annual study abroad program in British Columbia, Canada, is available to students. 【Additional Information】 Teaching License A Japanese junior or senior high school teaching license is preferred.
