Job Description |
Data Collection and Management: Collect, clean, and maintain data from various sources including metering systems, utility bills, SCADA system, and operational databases. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting. Data Analysis: Analyze energy consumption and performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency improvements. Utilize statistical techniques and software tools to interpret complex datasets. Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings and insights to internal stakeholders. Prepare visualizations of data to facilitate decision-making processes. Support Operational Efficiency: Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize energy production and consumption. Support the engineering and operations teams with data insights for performance enhancement. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and operations to gather requirements and provide data insights. Coordinate with external stakeholders as needed to ensure data quality and compliance. |

Job Requirements |
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Energy Science or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the energy sector, particularly in renewable energy and utility management. Familiarity with energy performance metrics and benchmarking. Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data processing. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data findings clearly and effectively. Ability to communicate in Japanese is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience: Prior experience in a data analysis role within the energy sector is preferred but not mandatory. Internship or project experience in data analytics or energy management is a plus. |
