As a UI/UX Designer for Generative AI Applications, you will be instrumental in defining the future of human-computer interaction for innovative projects. This role demands a harmonious blend of creativity and technical understanding, focusing on designing user interfaces that facilitate seamless interaction with Generative AI technologies. This position is suited for designers who aspire to push boundaries and apply their skills toward integrating AI with human-centric design principles. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with AI researchers, product managers, and engineers to understand the unique requirements and possibilities of AI technologies and translate them into compelling user experiences, based on user-centered design principles. - Design and prototype intuitive interfaces for AI applications, ensuring usability and accessibility while pushing the envelope of creativity and innovation. - Ensure consistency in visual and interaction design across multiple platforms, creating a cohesive experience for users interacting with AI technologies. - Work closely with the development team to ensure designs are implemented with fidelity and provide creative direction and feedback throughout the development cycle. - Utilize and contribute to design systems that accommodate the dynamic nature of AI-driven content and interactions. - Possibly conducting user research specific to AI-driven applications, identifying unique user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions. |

| Job Requirements |
Required Skills: - 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, ideally with projects that involve complex interactions or emerging technologies such as AI. - Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision). - A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in designing for AI-driven applications, including familiarity with data visualization and dynamic content as compared with traditional application. - Fluent in Japanese OR English (Either is fine), capable of effective communication and collaboration. - A proactive, autonomous approach to work, with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex projects and drive them to completion. - A keen interest in AI and its potential to transform user experiences, coupled with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. Nice to Have: - Experience in working on the UI/UX of web and app for chat or customer support applications. - Exposure to the UI/UX of applications where NLP/LLM technology has been applied. - Basic knowledge of or experience with the technical aspects of Generative AI, such as basic understanding about the output of large language models and their limitations, to better inform design strategies. - Experience conducting user research and usability testing for digital applications, with a focus on iterating designs based on user feedback and insights. - Familiarity with agile development methodologies, working closely with cross-functional teams to iteratively design and improve AI-driven applications. |
