Job Description As a Development Manager , you will act as the Owner's representative, manage all activities associated with the construction of a base building and/or interior improvements plus miscellaneous capital projects while adhering to the project schedule, budget, lender and/or ownership (partner) requirements.


Description

*

Coordinate and facilitate general construction activities

*

Direct activities of architects/engineers/asset managers

*

Research construction market and assist in preparation of project budget and capital improvement project projections

*

Work with Hines Conceptual Construction group and assist in drawing and specification preparation as well as review pricing and consultant/construction contracts

*

Support team members in managing bid process

*

Monitor and review contractor's work as it relates to budget, schedule and owner's program

*

Supervising and coordinating the vendor works (Vending machines, furniture, office cleaning, industrial garbage etc.).


Profile

*

Bachelor's degree, preferably in construction science, engineering or related field

*

Architect, Building Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, Certified Construction Manager preferred

*

Five years general contractor or construction related experience

*

Fluent Japanese and business level English communication ability
