Responsibilities: Work closely with the product owner to define strategy and roadmap for multiple database product lines. Maintain and prioritize product backlogs, delivering valuable features, bug fixes, and product enhancements. Plan and manage product releases, ensuring that planned timelines and operation policies are followed. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, development, etc., to ensure product quality. Keep track of database product life cycle, communicating with customers to plan upgrades accordingly. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related queries and issues from stakeholders. Translate stakeholders' feedback and requirements into technical specifications. Stay up-to-date with database technologies to ensure the product remains competitive. Take care of vendor communication, including license management. Required Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical product manager. Solid knowledge of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Jira or other project tracking tools. Familiarity with market trends and emerging technologies in the database industry. Exposure to product pricing models for cloud services. Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English (TOEIC 800 or above). Desired Skills: Experience as a product manager managing multiple products simultaneously. Experience with cloud-based databases and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). |
