Responsibilities: Network Architecture Design: Work closely with the bank's IT teams to design and implement network architectures that meet the specific needs of the financial industry Integrate Cisco MSO, EVPN, and ACI technologies into the network design Data Center Migration: Lead and execute data center migration projects, facilitating smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations Evaluate existing data center infrastructure, identify optimization opportunities, and implement migration strategies Technical Leadership: Provide seasoned technical leadership and guidance to both Ahead Consulting and the bank's IT teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in network design, implementation, and maintenance Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating Cisco MSO, EVPN, and ACI into network strategies Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security measures to safeguard sensitive financial data Ensure compliance with industry regulations and the bank's internal security policies Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including IT teams, project managers, and business leaders within the bank Communicate complex technical concepts in both business English and business Japanese to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Certifications: CCIE certification is mandatory Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Architect, with a focus on the financial industry Proven experience in successfully leading data center migration projects Technical Skills: Proficient in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting Experience with Cisco MSO, EVPN, and ACI technologies is required Cloud experience is a nice-to-have Expertise in routing, switching, and security protocols Knowledge of virtualization technologies Language Skills: Proficiency in business English and business Japanese is required |

-5 years of experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on data center networking -Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, including Nexus 9000, 7000, or 5000 series. -Hands-on experience with network devices from major vendors, such as Cisco, Fortinet, etc. -Strong knowledge of data center networking concepts, protocols, and best practices. -Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. -Proficiency in network virtualization, fabric extenders, and Virtual Port Channel (vPC) -Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS, etc). -Experience with network security principles, access controls, and Quality of Service (QoS) -Experience with datacenter applications migration is desirable. -Familiarity with load balancers, web proxy, and network virtualization technologies. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. -Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with a proactive and collaborative approach. -Industry certifications such as CCNP Data Center or CCIE Data Center are higher desirable. -English and Japanese bilingual for written and spoken are desirable. |
