Job Description	Job Description We need a highly technical business analyst who will work on investments related projects, with some flexibility to shape the role to the candidate. The candidate should be detail-oriented and understand software development lifecycle best practices and discipline such as CI/CD and test plans. Some potential duties: ・Documenting existing workflows in English by interviewing Japanese business user groups ・Breaking down large projects into smaller pieces and planning deliverables ・Develop and support reports which use BI tools and other data-heavy SQL extracts of the investment portfolio, with metrics such as book value/book yield, market value, credit ratings, asset class breakdown ・Keeping on top of issues in JIRA and sprint timelines ・Coordinate with dev and data teams in Tokyo and New York, production support team in India ・Troubleshooting incoming inquiries from business users on existing reports. Understanding details of report data sources, filing bugs and enhancement requests.

Job Requirements	Skills - Must have: ・Business Analysis and Project Management skills ・Able to create and read data flow and architecture diagrams, document workflows ・Able to create business requirements, functional specs High fluency in English (read, write, speak) as well as intermediate Japanese language skills (read, speak) ・Experience with investment data such as positions, transactions, market data, OMS ・Experience or interest in finding and resolving data discrepancies ・SQL query coding, troubleshooting, data analysis, understanding data models, bitemporality ・Level 2 support, working independently to debug and resolve issues ・Perform QA testing, construct and coordinate a production release, Confluence documentation Skills - Nice to have: ・QlikView, QlikSense or other business intelligence tool to create reports and dashboards ・Experience with data modeling, data warehouse, ETL, Snowflake ・General programming, testing ・Asset Management industry experience or interest (knowledge of Fixed Income and Accounting) ・Business rules engine experience ・Excel macro development and general Excel familiarity
English Level	Fluent (TOEIC 865-)
Japanese Level	Business Level(JLPT Level 2 or N2)
Salary	JPY - Japanese Yen JPY 8000K - JPY 10000K
