◆ Outline of duties ◆
・With the guidance, tools and materials provided by the DMC Global Sales team, this role will grow sales and deliver service-level excellence for Intrepid DMC.
・The senior consultant is responsible for achieving sales targets and exceptional customerperformance levels in consultation and booking of tailored FIT trips as well as managing group series.
・The consultant will build itineraries and provide customer service based on the Intrepid DMC standards, company philosophies and operational systems.
・Working alongside the contracting and reservations teams, the Sales team is the primary contact for our external customers and manages all points of the customer experience, up to trip departure.
A deep understanding of new and existing product components and itineraries is essential.
・The senior sales consultants focus will be to assess customer needs and potential ‘wants’ and provide customised product options, both proactively and on request.
・The consultant will follow through with the customer to secure the sale and ensure that the booking to departure process fits our high customer-service standards.

The Operations team contributes to this success by playing a pivotal role in the successful running of all Intrepid Japan trips to our global standards. The team manages and nurtures a community of enthusiastic and committed tour leaders and delivers the best possible Japan experience to our travellers. They work closely with our internal teams as well as colleagues in our Melbourne global headquarters and all around the world.

9:00 to 18:00 (scheduled working hours 8 hours break 60 minutes)
* The Intrepid Group has introduced flexible work tailored to each individual.
(It is different from the conventional flextime system in Japan. Currently, we work 2 days in the office and 3 days in remote. )
【QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE】(MUST)
• Strong destination/regional and local travel knowledge
•Fluent in both English and Japanese (written and verbal)
•Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
• Ability to accurately use systems to provide a quality customer experience
• Experience in adventure travel product development
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships
• Experience in managing and reporting on sales targets
• Experience in pricing both group series and FIT trips.

Estimated annual income: 3.7-4 million yen (based on experience and skills)
（30 hours fixed overtime included）
Salary increase → There may be no salary increase due to circumstances such as business performance.
(No salary increase in 2021/ Actual salary increase in 2022)
Bonus→20% of annual salary if the budget is achieved, 25% of annual salary if the budget is significantly exceeded (divided into 2 levels of 12.5% each), 5% of annual salary depending on the company's performance
There may be no Bonus increase due to circumstances such as business performance.
(No bonus in 2021, no bonus in 2022)

Commuting allowance: Yes (paid based on company regulations)
Bicycle commuting is possible
Holidays: Approximately 123 days a year (Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and year-end and New Year holidays 12 / 29-1 / 3)
Paid leave: According to the Labor Standards Law (10 days after 6 months in the first year)
Complete weekly two-day system (Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays)
6-month trial period(There is no change in working conditions during the terms.)
About 5 minutes on foot from Kyoto Municipal Subway "Karasuma Oike Station" or "Hankyu Railway Karasuma Station"
(Scheduled to move to Umeda, Osaka in early 2023.)
