Job Description Business Development Manager (BDM). This position is account sales of PCCW Global Japan team.

The BDM as sales to our customers, will provide our GLOBAL telecommunication services to our existing and new logo customers with our internal (team of presales and regional service manager.) The BDM will handle from presales phase (identify opportunities) to post sales phase with all of related sales activities.

The BDM will work closely with internal PCCW Global presales, Regional Service Manager (RSM) to proceeds sales activities and have responsibility to sales target in annually.

Responsibilities:
• Achieving sales target certainly.
• Develop our existing and new logo customers, partners to expand our global services.
• Maintaining existing customers (Wholesale: telecom carriers and Enterprise: manufacturing, ISP, ICP and Cloud players and more) with their service expectations.
• Provide our customers’ requirements to our internal and external partners to solve issues which may be facing to our customers.
• Require to work closely with internal support especially presales team.
• Develop and maintain a positive, productive long term working relationships with the customer.
• Coordinate the resolution of escalated internal and external customer issues while working on cross departmental service issues with internal and external teams.
• Responsible as the primary customer service contact in critical event management situations, including providing support on technical and customer bridges.
• Ensure full compliance of agreed solutions and services to meet customer needs; proactive monitoring of agreed SLAs in order to deliver exceptional service and acknowledged customer value; focus on beating the target

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
• Self-starter who is able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Effective communicator who excels at presenting with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Associate's degree holder or higher.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent people and problem solving skills with the ability to work through challenging situations and engage the right internal, external, customer or partner resources as appropriate.
• Must be well-organized, self-motivated and a team player.
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel and Visio.

Skills & Experience:
• Understanding of Global Data networking (L1, L2 and L3: Internet/IP, IPVPN and managed CPE).
• Experience in sales activities of telecom related services.

Desired Qualifications:
• Proven track record successfully sales multinational and international customer base.
• Knowledge of telecommunication services.
• Japanese and English as business level in speaking, writing and reading.
