You will be in charge of joint research projects on mathematical optimization with companies. You will mainly be responsible for technical consulting and project management. *You will be responsible for promoting PoC projects mainly with enterprise companies. [Job details] 1. Compiling technical opinions 2. Creating project plans 3. Project delivery = building, implementing, and reporting on mathematical models *Project management specialized in project delivery from a technical perspective of mathematical optimization 4. Active proposals to lead to the next project *The business side is responsible for creating lead cases, initial interviews, and creating estimates. [Past joint research results] ・Toho Gas: Energy supply control ・Toyota Tsusho × Microsoft: Optimization of traffic light control ・KDDI × Hitachi: Optimization of frequency allocation direction ・Broadmind: Optimization of insurance product recommendations ・SIer company: Shift optimization ・Materials company: Material structure optimization (black box optimization) *We have a track record of joint research and PoC with numerous other enterprises. |

| Job Requirements |
Qualifications (required) 1. Master's degree in mathematics, physics, or mathematical optimization, or equivalent practical experience 2. Have an idea of how to proceed with a mathematical optimization project 3. Programming experience in Python Qualifications (preferred) PhD in mathematics, physics, or mathematical optimization Specialized knowledge of mathematical optimization Business-level English skills Ability to understand customer needs and control expectations while setting appropriate project goals in joint research projects, and to allocate and promote appropriate human resources Experience in promoting projects with enterprise companies from a technical perspective at a consulting firm, etc. |
