We have proprietary technology to make corrosition-ressistant steels, which are in many cases equal to or better than existing steels in their mechanical properties, such as strength, toughness, brittleness, ductility, hardness and formablity, at equal or lower cost than exisiting steel. It was originally invented by a materials science professor at UC Berkeley, who is now a board member of ours and continues to improve and innovete the technology. We bought the original patent from the university and alos received a new one on the microcomposite structure version last year. A few more patents for the next-generation version of our steel are pending.
