Q10 Can you name three accomplishments you are most proud of? あなたが最も誇りに思っている業績を3つあげてください。

新卒で実務経験がない場合以外は、応募する仕事に関した業績を述べます。新卒の場合は、学生生活、クラブ活動、アルバイト、ボランティア活動などで達成したことをあげます。
アメリカ式履歴書であれば、Summaryで業績をまとめてあげてあるはずです。Summaryの内容は、応募職で要求されるスキルや経験をまとめたものなので、それを膨らませて答えるとよいでしょう。
業績といっても大げさに考える必要はありません。「学校で良い成績を収めた」「海外に留学して無事卒業した」ということでもかまいません。 筆者は社員やインターンを雇う際に、必ずこの質問をするのですが、次のような悪い例が共通して見られます。

悪い例

●“My communication skill.”
「コミュニケーションスキル」それ自体が業績とはなりません。優れたコミュニケーションスキルを使って達成したことを述べるべきです。

●“I worked for a trading firm for three years.”
ただ「働いた」だけではなく、職場で具体的にどのような成果を収めたかを述べるべきです。

●“When I left the previous employer, my boss wanted me to stay.”
これでは業績として述べたことにはなりません。
ここは、“While I worked for my previous employer for seven years. I made myself indispensable to them and my boss asked me to stay while I resigned.”などと表現する必要があります。

●“I'm in the midst of a journey and I am way too young to make a list of my accomplishments．”
どこかの面接の虎の巻から取ってきたのだと思いますが、謙遜はプラスにはなりません。若くても自分で「よくやった」と思えることは、学生生活、私生活を通していくらでもあるはずです。
