1. 現在のお仕事内容を教えてください
担当しているクライアントの業界分野は、ヘルスケア、航空、金融、政府、ITと業界の分野は幅広く、毎日違う業務を行っており飽きることはありません。基本的な業務としては、クライアントが記事に上がっているかをリサーチ、記者会見のセッティング、社内コミュニケーションのプラニングなどがあります。2. やりがいを教えてください
翻訳作業を通して、クライアントのコーポレートカルチャーや製品などを学べることです。常に情報を追っている記者の方々と、お話することで、様々な最新情報が入ってくるので楽しいです。
3. 英語の使用場所、使用頻度はどのくらいですか？
メールや会話で毎日英語を使用しています。クライアントは外資系企業が多いので、ミーティングは英語で行われることが大半です。
4. 自社の魅力を教えてください
ワークライフバランスが取れることです。有給もしっかりと取得出来ます。 服装も自由で社内ではスニーカー、デニムもOK！仕事に関しては、挑戦してみたいことがあれば、社長へ直接伝えることができ、いろいろなことを経験させてくれます。
5. 働き方や社内の雰囲気について教えてください 社員は皆、フレンドリーで話しやすく笑いが絶えない会社です。上司、部下関係なくいろいろな話をしています。部下が意見を言える環境なので、働き方は外資系のカルチャーだと思います。海外で６年間生活した私にとっては、すごく心地の良い職場環境です。

1. 現在のお仕事内容を簡単に教えてください。どのようなところにやりがいを感じますか？
I work with several domestic and international clients in industries.My responsibilities include research/analysis of current news, creation of comprehensive reports on, for example, how our client is portrayed in the media domestically, translation/localization of documents from Japanese to English for investor and internal use, support of various events, etc. Personally I believe in the globalization of Japanese companies and want to help their progression in understanding and welcoming other people and cultures. I just as sincerely believe in expanding international companies’ concepts of the Japanese market. These two points are different sides to the same coin, and they are achievable through open communication and strong support, which is exactly what we do.
2. 英語の使用場所、使用頻度はどのくらいですか？
I typically speak English more often and read more materials in Japanese. There is an equal amount of Japanese and English emails that come in daily, internally and from clients. English is slightly more spoken in the office, but we all switch between both.
3. 自社の魅力を教えてください
Something that really sets us apart from other companies is our bilingualism and internationalism. Half the staff is Japanese, and the other half are from all over the world. We each have a unique perspective and insider knowledge of how things are done from our respective countries, and this is an incredibly useful skill when connecting with and understanding clients and their needs.
4. 働き方や社内の雰囲気について教えてください
My colleagues are professional and intuitive, and there are no robot-like office drones (laugher is in fact acceptable in the office). Everyone is friendly and very supportive, all with open minds that come from international experiences. Many projects are fast paced, so we all stay in close communication with each other, and we take pride in our work. Everyone works hard and people typically offer their time to help each other out.
5. 一日のスケジュールを教えてください
My schedule varies quite often, which honestly I enjoy since it doesn’t get monotonous, but on an average day I work in a team to create a daily report summarizing recent airline industry news, attend strategic meetings for various clients, translate press releases for an innovative start-up investor, stay up to date with global events, and provide
general support to colleagues.
