Interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. Dealing directly with customers by telephone and electronically, responding promptly to all customer inquiries internally and externally.
* To be the primary contact for internal and external clients by phone and email.
* Prepare and explain quotations to our customers via email and phone.
* Receive and reply to enquiries via email, phones and through our internal system.
* Monitor and track ongoing shipments, reacting to any deviation from the plan.
* Determine which shipping solution should be used for certain shipments.
* Advice clear pick up/special delivery/temperature control handling instructions to an agent or destination office on how a shipment should be managed.
* Ability to form part of a team and work independently.
* Self-motivated and uses own initiative.
* Remains calm under pressure.
* Flexible attitude.
* High attention to detail.
* Able to prioritise workload, which may change throughout the day.
* Friendly, polite, dependable, reliable and trustworthy.
