The Client Onboarding Specialist will report to the Head of Market Operations, and is at the same time a technical/operational role and a client-facing role. The position requires direct hands-on interaction with trading systems, performing administrative and operational tasks, as well as client communication.
Primary responsibilities include:
■Client Onboarding. Corresponding with the clients and understanding their requests related to their procurement of services and products offered by the company; clarifying client requirements and needs; processing orders for services and products and guiding the client through the procurement process.
■System Change Coordination. To facilitate client onboarding and deliver the requested services to the client, system changes must be clearly specified and tested by working closely with the Market Operations and technical teams.
■Systems monitoring and client support. This includes performing daily checks, responding to support calls and troubleshooting system issues.
■Occasional on-call support for client weekend testing.
Required Qualifications / Skills
■Client onboarding and/or support experience particularly for services in equities market.
■Good understanding of how Information System systems work.
■Attention to details.
■Effective Communication skills.
■Proficiency in conversing and writing in English
■Proficiency with Windows Office applications, in particular Excel and Word.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
■JSDA Class 1 Sales Representative. Qualified within 3 months of employment preferred.
■Japanese language skills.
■Experience with basic Unix shell.
■Experience or knowledge of FIX protocol a big plus.
■Understanding of market structure, trends, and regulatory developments.
