Voice Systems Project Engineer/Consultant
Trader Voice technology remediation project - Global Financial Institution in Tokyo
As a member of the Network Solutions Design & Delivery (“SDD”) team to contribute to the Voice deliverables for a major server room re-stack and legacy Trader Voice technology remediation project.
The Solutions Design & Delivery team is comprised of a Connectivity Project Manager, Senior Network Engineer, and Technology SMEs, based in locations around the Asia Pacific region. This role is primarily responsible for Voice technology deliverables, with secondary task of assisting Connectivity PM and Senior Network PM with local network delivery related “hands & eyes” tasks.
The Voice technologies in scope of the project are:
Enterprise Voice PABX: Cisco CUCM and Unity
Trader Voice systems: IPC Alliance or Unigy
Speakerbus intercom system: ICS or SB534
Voice Recording systems: Cybertech/NICE NTR
Call Accounting applications: CTI Proteus, others
Voice Carrier trunks (vendor management, coordination, relocation)

Professional level Japanese and English
Hands-on experience with the design, implementation, and/or support of a majority of the Voice / Network technologies above.
Understanding of integration of voice technology with LAN and WAN data networks, Firewalls, AD, and Storage
Experience in similar positions in a financial institution and/or consulting firm a plus
Good communicator: Able to confidently and respectfully engage various front, mid, and back office stakeholders
