IT Engineer position with our client in Japan
This position requires good communication skills in English. Japanese language skills are good to have but not necessary for this role.
1st / 2nd Level Desk Side Support
o Carry out end user support that cannot be handled by the global helpdesk.
▪ In unavoidable cases, should carry out direct user support if requested. ▪ If resolution is not possible at Japan IT level, carry out coordination with each vendor, global IT in-charge, and enable resolution.
Global / Local IT Project Support o Provide support as required for IT projects
▪ (Scope, cost, activities with deadlines etc.) that are being implemented by Client locally in Japan or Globally with the client counterparts.
▪ Project lead may be done by Client Global IT (outside Japan) or Client IT (within Japan)
Technical Advisory and Consulting within IT Department
▪ Ability to understand the requirement and carry out investigation and reporting himself/herself (Mandatory)
▪ Prior experience in consulting for an enterprise (Preferred)

Technical Skills and Experience:
o 3+ years’ experience in setting up and providing user support for servers, client PC, storage and network
o Task management capability (Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently implement within the deadline)
o Skills equivalent to an IT engineer
o Experienced in User helpdesk support and IT system operations
