Position Summary :
The Business/Technical Consultant’s role is responsible for providing Business/Technical expertise towards architecting business solutions to prospects and customers across multiple and/or large, complex projects and to build the associated customer relationships.
Working with various in-house or outside products which includes but not limited to Financial Planning, Corporate Performance Management, Regulatory Reporting solutions.
∙ Communicates business cases to Product Management Group (PMG) and Product Development (PD) regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
∙ In case needed take active participation in New Product Development.
∙ Demonstrates both depth and breadth of knowledge across various product solutions and understand the integrations points.
∙ Has knowledge around industry verticals, challenges present, and understands their uniqueness when applying Solutions.
∙ Interacts with PMG & PD regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.
∙ Serves as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.

Essential Skills/Experience required:
∙ Experience of working in complex software implementations preferably in Financial Product
∙ Expert knowledge of software architecture from a technical/business perspective
∙ Web Test Automation, Automated Build Systems, Version Control Systems
∙ 4-6 Years of experience in developing solutions (preferably for Financial institutions)
∙ Strong knowledge of SQL, understanding of relational data modeling
∙ Experience with any major relational database (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, SYBASE)
∙ Experienced in programming languages (C/C++/Java or .Net)
∙ Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting
∙ Proficient in Business English is a must
∙ Knowledge of SAP-Financials, Oracle Financials an advantage
∙ Experience of working on multiple programs at one time
∙ Experience with any other regulatory and compliance reporting platforms (incl. custom solutions)
∙ Experience of financial planning software solutions or corporate performance management is advantage
∙ Deploying scalable web applications on Oracle Weblogic server.
∙ Experience of implementing both on premise and Cloud software solutions
∙ Architecture of a Highly Available and High Transaction Business Critical Web Application.
∙ Experience on ControllerView platform is an advantage
∙ Experience in document management product would be an advantage
∙ Experience with Big data technologies is an advantage
∙ Familiarity with Agile process
∙ Familiarity with Jira
∙ Familiarity with XML, XBRL is an advantage
∙ Good understanding and experience in client-server applications development.
∙ Well-developed interpersonal and communication, problem solving, diplomacy and influencing skills.
∙ Focused and determined, confident, self-sufficient and able to contribute from day one
∙ Willing to learn and master new products in short span of time.
∙ Well organized and consistently meets commitments.
∙ Demonstrates independence in action, decision making, goal oriented and driven
Other Skills and Experiences:
∙ Should be willing to work for new implementations as well as long term maintenance project.
∙ Should be willing to travel to overseas as and when required
∙ Preferably has experience of working with Japanese customers
∙ If non-Japanese- Japanese language knowledge would be preferred.
