仕事内容 Your Mission: As the Customer Success engineer, you will be responsible in working with enterprise customers and making sure the customers have a great working experience with this company during the deployment of the solution.


In this role, you will act as the customer liaison between SE, Technical Support, SW Engineering, Product Management, and Field Operations. Customer Success engineer must display a rigorous work ethic and thrive in an unstructured and dynamic environment.

* Serve as customer advocate to ensure their day to day issues and goals/objectives are met from Technical Support, SW Engineering, Product Management and Field Operations

* Achieve a high degree of Customer satisfaction

* Provide accurate reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to this position's team and the Customer

* Work as a Customer Success Engineer and with Technical Support Team, Systems Engineering and Sales to ensure customer goals and objectives are achieved

* Communicate and manage issues with customer as required

* Handle critical escalations for customer issues

* Facilitate ongoing customer conference calls

* Conduct pre-implementation follow-up, face to face meetings or phone conversations to monitor customer satisfaction

* Coordinate onsite meetings with customer as required

* Participates in audits and work with management to establish or revise procedures and processes

* Continually keep abreast of new technologies and new products

* Japan wide travel to customer sites

* Assist in assessing the support service delivery risks in complex client proposals, developing & executing pragmatic approaches to eliminating or containing these risks.


Required skills/Experience:

* BA/BS Degree or equivalent

* Minimal 5 years working experience in the IT industry

* Excellent communication; verbal and written both Japanese and English

* Proven ability to manage large deployments of hardware and software for large corporations

* Consulting experience with data center operations

* Ability to bridge technology and business goals to provide productive solutions

* Must have the ability to grasp new technical information quickly

* Strong working knowledge of hardware platforms (CPQ/HP, IBM, Dell, NEC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Etc.)

* Strong working knowledge of WAN technologies and TCP/IP networking

* Strong working knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux

* Strong working knowledge of Fibre Channel design skills (SAN)

* Strong working knowledge of an enterprise application (Exchange, SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes, etc)

* Strong working knowledge of disaster recovery and design capabilities

* Good working knowledge with backup and recovery products (Commvault, Veritas, Arcserve, etc)

* Good working knowledge of clustering

* Good working knowledge of libraries (HP, IBM, NEC, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Oracle, Etc.)

* Good working knowledge of storage solutions (e.g. Veritas, EMC, HDS, etc)

* Ability to read and interpret complex diagrams and specification requirements

* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment

* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office

* Previous Technical Support experience with supporting large enterprise customers is a plus

* Business Administration Training and Project Management Training is a plus

* Formal Training in Account and Relationship Management is a plus
