仕事内容 <Accountabilities>
* Provide in‐depth insights on local access, payer, and policy matters critical for early stage product evaluation regarding:
‐ Payer, provider and payer channels and channel characteristics
‐ Magnitude of the opportunity in each segment
‐ Approach and pathway that each payer segment takes to determine funding e.g., budget impact, cost effectiveness, cost minimization, private out of pocket
‐ Drivers and barriers to market access from state, federal, institution and patients
‐ Evolution of the reimbursement/funding system and what the environment will evolve to at launch and beyond
‐ Treatment options and directional assessment on product price bands
‐ Value evidence that is required to support optimal product access at launch sequence
‐ Local policy environment, key stakeholders, and pending changes to policy/legislation, budget that will impact access at launch

* External engagement
‐ Engage regularly with relevant reimbursement/funding authorities to understand current landscape and anticipate future changes

* Communication and collaboration
‐ Clear, effective communication in Japanese and English
‐ Collaborates with functional country archetype colleagues
‐ Updates local affiliate and regional stakeholders on key issues to inform pre‐launch planning

* Planning
‐ Development local plan to gather pricing and access insights to inform PT strategy development

応募条件 <Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience>
* In depth knowledge of the payer, government environment including reimbursement, managed entry agreements, pricing, contracting, value drivers, formulary management, HTA policy, and government affairs/policy/advocacy
* Familiarity with the global value dossier (GVD)
* Direct payer experience and/or experience in Product Commercialization
* Ability to review clinical and health economic literature, including disease state information, clinical trial design and results, and pharmacoeconomic studies to understand implication for payers
* Understanding of what needs to be differentiated in the access strategy for the product to be successful
