Your new company
A start-up company, new to Japan, is searching for a customer service manager to mentor and manage the customer support team in Japan. While there is only one staff member at the moment, they plan to hire at least 30 staff within the next year, so it will be a good opportunity for you to support the growth of the company. Specialized in livestreaming, this Taiwan based company has been made world famous for their social media implications and rapid name recognition on the market.
Your new role
As the customer service manager you will be responsible for not only managing existing staff, but helping grow the department by hiring new staff. You will need to use your experience to mentor and coach these staff members to be as successful as possible. In the beginning it will require hands-on customer service, but eventually your duties will be solely management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need experience in customer service, and experience managing a call center (at least 2-3 years' experience). You will also need to speak native level Japanese and high business English, Chinese will also be a plus. You must be driven and motivated to help the growth of a start-up company which will take resilience, and patience.
