仕事内容	Actively participate and lead the networking in Japan, not only in Japan but also handle global US, UK USA, Asia. Report to IT Operation Manager based in the UK, and collaborate with employees based in China, UK , Geneva and Singapore Description 【Job Description】 * Configure and install various network devices and services not limiting to WAN routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, Wireless infrastructure (wireless controller, access points), voice routers, VoIP phones as a Solo Engineer for Japan office. * Perform network maintenance and infrastructure upgrades including hot fixes and security configurations. * Monitor the performance and ensure network availability and reliability * Monitor resource utilization and capacity planning. * Provide technical support and have troubleshooting skills to resolve issues. * Select and implement security tools, policies and procedures set by the company's security team. * Liaise with the vendors and other IT personnel to resolve problems. Profile [What Do You Need To Succeed? ] Required Experience * Experience in networking * Communication skills in English and Japanese. (Business level) * Proven experience and success with LAN, WAN, WLAN, VOICE and firewall implementation. * Proven experience with network principles, and general network management best practices. * Working technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and Internet standards. * Experience installing and managing network infrastructure - switches, routers, firewalls. * Good understanding of the organisation's goals and objectives. * Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. * Experience with troubleshooting in a complex network environment. Preferred Skills: * Cisco Certification - CCNA or CCNP * Network implementation, management and monitoring is highly desired.
