We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our client's team as a counter Operations Manager for our Tax-free shopping center located in Tokyo23. you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the Refund Counter, overseeing key departments such as sales, IT, HR, and Finance. Description * Oversee all Central Issuing and Refund Counters (CIRC) across Japan from setup to daily operations. * Manage counter managers and frontline staff at each location, including full-time, part-time, and outsourced personnel. * Collaborate with Developer/Tenants representatives to accomplish mutual goals. * Prioritize customer service and satisfaction. * Work closely with internal management to maintain best practice standards and meet KPIs. * Communicate effectively in both Japanese and English with internal and external stakeholders. Profile * Native level in Japanese speaker with fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese is a plus. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in the service industry, with a preference for candidates with experience in hospitality, travel, or F&B. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, develop, and support key departments. * Excellent analytical skills to leverage data for actionable insights. * Proactive mindset with the ability to foresee challenges and plan accordingly.
