仕事内容	Our client is looking for a Java developer who will work on some of their most important applications. You will be working in a multicultural environment with stakeholders from all over the world. Description The team you will be joining is responsible in developing and enhancing one of their vital operations for middle-office applications. Your team will focus participate in the project's full life cycle and is part of one of the strongest development teams in the firm. Your main responsibilities: * Confirm specifications used for development * Develop, test, and deploy features for the applications meant for external use using backend technologies * Provide after-production support for released applications * Help deploy applications by taking on the DevOps and being responsible for tests to ensure smooth releases Profile (Mandatory) You need to have: * 5+ years of working experience Java, ideally with Spring or Springboot * Experience with server-side applications and microservices development * Experience with cloud technologies * Robust problem-solving and debugging skills * Located in Japan (can commute to Tokyo) * Fluent English (Preferred) Would be a plus if you have: * Experience development in a Unix environment, with scripting skills such as Perl or shell scripting * Familiar with design patterns and multi-tier enterprise application architecture * Knowledge in scheduling agents like Autosys, etc. * Experience in the development of financial products (fixed income, derivaties, equities, etc.) * Business-level Japanese Job Offer What you can get through this role: * Opportunity to work with highly-skilled developers * A competitive salary of up to JPY 11M/year * Flexibility of WFH * Exciting opportunity to work in the financial services industry * Multicultural working environment To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
