仕事内容	● Write, edit, and proofread content for reading, listening, speaking, and writing tests according to detailed test specifications. ● Take part in editorial meetings in which proposed content (sometimes your own) is critiqued and revised. ● Assign and manage subcontracted work, evaluating the performance of item writers and providing feedback. ● Train, manage, and evaluate examiners and test markers. ● Grade responses from speaking and writing tests. ● Assist at public test sites as an administrator or examiner. ● Report to senior editors and section managers. ● Perform general administrative office duties as needed. ● Maintain courteous, professional spoken and written communication in both Japanese and English.

勤務時間	Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. plus overtime as needed; must also be willing to work on the Saturdays and/or Sundays when tests are held.
応募条件	【MUST】 ● English native level. ● Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Familiarity with well-known style guides, such as The Chicago Manual of Style, a plus. ● Experience writing or editing materials for publication; test-development experience strongly preferred. ● Experienced and proficient in software applications such as MS Word and Excel. ● Excellent time-management skills and able to multi-task and prioritize work. ● Advanced Japanese language skills (JLPT Level N2 or higher). ● Able to work as part of a team in a Japanese office environment. ● Reside within commuting distance of central Tokyo. 【WANT】 Strong desire to contribute to English-language education in Japan; interest or background in language testing or applied linguistics a plus.
