Currently we're hiring Bilingual Finance Support Executive to help with technical deliverables to client.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

This job is to support client team /department in the production/ logistics area that manages the transport flow (inbound and outbound), packaging terminal and purchasing logistics at multiple different locations. Main goal of this position is to support transport operation, manage and develop the End to End material flow and distribution of finished vehicles and kits from suppliers/ plants, to either end-customers or plant, optimizing tradeoff between tied up capital, precision, lead time, availability and transport cost. You will follow business case evaluation under key cost savings activities, including assurance savings result reflect in financial result.

You will be a part of team that drives business performance.

You will gain an opportunity to understand how the organization works from supplier to customer. You will be responsible for the reporting structure, be a part of the global financial and performance view for PL, securing the quality and analysis of the reported figures.

Ideal candidate has a strong operational mindset and interest in further development, may lead the Business Control activities locally in Japan and be part of the Business Control organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Be a business partner key contact point for PL Japan related to finance topic

• Prepare production logistics business area monthly management accounts closing with high level of accuracy.

• Support information and collaborate with other teams in Japan and other countries to secure timely, quality in period end closing process for PL Japan

• Deliver quality assured financial and KPI-related reporting and analysis of the production logistics cost in a timely and efficient manner.

• Perform/drive variance analysis between actual and target or estimated levels.

• Coordinate and lead several operational level and some Tactical meetings.

• Working with cost improvement plan leader to secure business case and savings under “CIP” inclusive actual performance tracking.

• Prepare and provide Standard cost of Sales information for production logistics cost in Japan under annual SCS process.

• Prepare financial estimate for production logistics cost for PL in Japan

• Work close to PL and other functions in order to optimize E2E cost performance.

• Interface with the Group companies in terms of financial performance related to logistics PMI.

• Ad hoc report or assignment as needed to support senior manager.

• Share report, data etc as needed within internal team members in HCL organization

Background and key competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ finance or relevant experience.

• Good accounting knowledge both IFRS and JGAPP.

• Highly energetic and fast learner with a positive attitude.

• Good networking skills in a multi-cultural environment.

• Strong analysis skill, critical thinking and teamwork spirit.

• Able to work under pressure with limited time.

• Good communication skill and ability to transform data into business information both in English and Japanese.

• Good command of spoken and written English with high presentation skill.

• Experience in using SAP R/3, IT system with interface large data and advanced excel.

• Experience from production or transportation environment is an advantage.

The location of this position will be in Ageo, Japan.
