Job Description |
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer for in-house IT. Support Engineers work in IT Office to set up PCs for internal users with a defined image. We also provide software updates and bug support for internal users. To be successful as an in-house IT Desktop Support Engineer, you need experience working in in-house IT, extensive knowledge of the Office IT System, problem-solving skills, and high interpersonal skills. What the IT Desktop Support Engineer does • Deploy your PC according to the set procedure • Shipment / return management of client PC • Record shipments / returns • Remotely install / upgrade OS and software • Troubleshoot your PC's Hardware / Software • Troubleshoot basic Network / Connection • Provide 2nd Level support to internal users for issues escalated from our service desk • In some cases, work with Region IT's 3rd Level support team to resolve issues • Participate in globally deployed projects and support smooth expansion in Japan |

Job Requirements |
* Experience working as a desktop support or other support technician in in-house IT * Knowledge of common operating systems such as Windows / macOS, software applications, and remote connections * Ability to solve complex Hardware / Software problems * Being able to handle overtime work * Excellent interpersonal skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Being able to communicate with overseas support teams in English * ITIL Foundation qualified person (or understand the content) * Multitasking ability * Strong desire to learn and grow as job requirements change. * Customer service oriented * A thorough understanding of the contact center industry |
