Ahead Group is looking for a Linux/Middleware Engineer to join us onsite at an International Insurance firm in Tokyo Role: ・ Manage infrastructure systems in local and overseas reliability/sustainability ・ Support in-house projects to follow global project framework & to achieve requirement/timeline ・ Build/develop/quality assurance of Unix/Linux/Microsoft system ・ Software asset management (License, Product/Hardware Life Cycle) ・ In house/outsource application support ・ Analyze, design, implement the system or enhancements ・ Manage to process business partner’s and internal user’s request ・ Networking with global/regional IT team ・ Manage/be part of projects to achieve timeline and to follow group policy |

Essential Skills and Experience: ・ English skill between native and business (Mainly communicate with other team in overseas) ・ Technical background and experience with Middleware such as Websphere, Apache, Tomcat, Java ・ Technical background and experience with Unix/Linux/Windows OS implementation, migration and management ・ Technical background and management experience with VMWare（VMkernel, etc） ・ Technical background and management experience with Messaging system (LotusNote/MS Exchange) ・ Experience global project which required communicate with telephone/mail in English as a member or lead ・ Certificate or knowledge of ITILv3 base IT service management Desirable Skills and Experience: ・ Knowledge of scripting for system management（VB, PowerShell、Bash、Pearl, etc） ・ Experience of database management (Oracle 11g/12c、Microsoft SQL) ・ Experience of Cisco network system management ・ Experience of major project involvement ・ Technical background and experience of Active Directory, Microsoft IIS implementation/management |
