Job Description PEAK DMC JAPAN is a part of the Intrepid Group, which is one of the largest providers of adventure travel. We are currently looking for a ☆Reservations Coordinator☆ for our Kyoto Office team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a global travel company as it expands its operations in Japan. It is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about travel in Japan, has prior Reservations experience, and who likes working cooperatively with others in a friendly and flexible small-team environment.

【Reservations Coordinator】
・Administrates and follows up on bookings
・Confirms the bookings for all suppliers for scheduled trips
・Ensures the budgeted costs are correct and that all information relating to the booking is accurately recorded in internal systems.
・Provides accurate feedback and alternatives at times when a booking cannot be made for various reasons
・Responds efficiently to enquiries from the Sales and Operations teams

PEAK DMC is a global leader in providing a rich diversity of travel experiences to customers across the world. Our goal is to build trusting customer relationships to secure repeat business for the local DMC and within our global network of DMCs.

The Reservations team contributes to this success by providing quick and accurate bookings, confirmations and suitable alternatives to all accepted quotes for our DMC clients. The team also completes reservations work for accommodation, transport and activities for all trips operated for our parent company, the Intrepid Group.
Working Hours 9:00-18:00
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in Japanese and English
• Understanding of Japan’s travel industry
• Experience working in a Reservations department, ideally in the inbound sector
• Well-developed standards of customer service and professional communication skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, MS Word, Excel and Email)
• Certified Travel Supervisor qualification (preferred)
