Proven track record of successful project and program management with Japanese clients
Experience working with global teams and especially teams in Japan, USA, and Europe
Ability to effectively resolve escalations
Excellent customer communication skills.
Run a large program within a global organization.
Act as the main point of contact and coordinator for our operations in Japan
Serve as a business partner for Japanese customers
Own business KPI’s and drive action to achieve them
Take ownership of support issues, engaging other internal / external expertise as required.
5+ years’ at least in a Project/Program Management role
Experience managing multiple clients and multiple projects
Self-motivated, self-driven and capable to understand team needs.
Proactive and capable to manage issues on a day-to-day basis.
Proven experience managing customer, escalations, contracts, rotation, etc.
Excellent ability to identify specific customer needs and drive closure to identified customer issues.
Excellent business communication skills to translate Japanese unique market requirements into system specifications with rationale.
Deep understanding in difference between western and Japanese company culture/ operational mechanism.
Deep understanding in Japanese localization both from business rules and technical perspectives.
Excellent ability to foster a strong team environment.
Be creative and mature with a “can do”, proactive attitude and an ability to continuously “scan” the environment, identifying and taking advantage of opportunities for improvement.
Detailed oriented, capable of investigating escalated incidents and requests, communicate professionally in a timely manner, with the ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly.
Capable to create unambiguous and high-quality deliverables.
Experience managing human factor and delivery complexity without impacts.
Capable to generate realistic mid and long-term goals
