Your primary mission is to deeply understand and interpret our customers' technical requirements and propose optimal solutions. You will also develop compelling presentations and quotes, and work with the sales team to achieve our goals. You will communicate closely with internal sales, project, and service teams, as well as external partners, to contribute to Vertiv's growth in the Japanese market. [Specific Job Duties] ★ Listen to and analyze customer requirements and propose solutions (products and services) that meet their needs. ★ Prepare and implement customer presentation materials and quotes. ★ Prepare bids and negotiate and negotiate contract terms. ★ Provide technical support during the pre-sales stage and conduct mid-level product training. ★ Analyze costs, manage sales performance, and report to management to achieve sales goals. ★ Collaborate with other departments, including sales, project, and service. ★ Support marketing activities such as conferences and exhibitions. ★ Provide technical support through training and demonstrations to partner companies (such as distributors) to help them drive business. |

Application Requirements (Requirements and Preferred Skills) [Requirements] ◆Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably electrical or mechanical) ◆3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or pre-sales professional ◆Knowledge and practical experience in uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), batteries, and DC power systems (particularly knowledge of data center infrastructure) ◆Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (native level preferred) ◆Business-level or higher English proficiency (TOEIC score of 735 or above) ◆PC skills (Microsoft Excel/MS Office) [Desired Skills] ◆Experience in the M&E contractor industry or related field |
