Job Summary: This position will strengthen Eaton's DPQ channel network in Japan, drive sales growth by developing target distributors, and strengthen Eaton's presence in the national market. DPQ: Distributed Power Quality (including single-phase UPS, rack-mount PDU, and MDC (micro data center)) Responsibilities: • Achieve DPQ sales targets in assigned country. • Develop and execute plans to increase engagement with T2 distributors to expand market share. • Build relationships with key customers and strengthen long-term business prospects. • Collaborate with channel sales managers and marketing personnel to implement marketing communications strategies to maintain brand image. • Build relationships with distributors and key channel partners to expand Tier 2 and Tier 1 channel business. • Maintain collaborative relationships with all other Eaton departments and focus on delivering a high level of customer satisfaction both internally and externally. • Analyze the market and regularly provide market information to management. • Mobilize Eaton resources to complete projects and improve customer satisfaction. • Develop multi-tiered relationships with customer organizations. • Comply with the bid review process. • Provide bid management documentation in accordance with policy and process requirements. • Continually review and evolve go-to-market strategies to drive significant growth for Eaton's DPQ business. • Perform all job functions in accordance with Eaton's philosophy and values. • Commitment and responsibility to the Quality Management System: a. Implement a process approach and risk-based thinking. b. Provide the support necessary to fully implement and maintain the QMS. c. Communicate the importance of compliance with QMS requirements to the organization. d. Ensure the QMS achieves its objectives. e. Engage, coach, and support individuals contributing to the QMS. f. | Job Requirements |
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferable in electrical engineering. • A minimum of 5 years of on-quota, B2B technology sales experience. • A history of selling UPS, rack-mount PDU, Electrical solutions and licenses/subscriptions to large, complex organizations with demonstrated ownership of all aspects of territory management. • History of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets. • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment. • Teamwork and good communication skills a must. • Prospecting Skills. • Technical Understanding. • Building Relationships, People Skills, Customer Focus. • Professionalism. • Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken). |
