| Job Description |
Job Description 1. Maintain IT operations for users in the Tokyo office and ensure compliance with local IT service level agreements (SLAs). 2. Respond promptly to internal requests and install and troubleshoot application systems, client software, and hardware such as PCs, networks, and printers. 3. Work closely with the local management team to ensure user satisfaction. 4. Manage IT asset inventory. 5. Contribute to the creation of internal technical documentation and ensure its validity, completeness, and readability. 6. Support compliance with information security regulations and manage security systems, server rooms, and HVAC and environmental monitoring equipment. 7. Liaise and coordinate with external vendors as needed. 8. Complete assigned projects and tasks within deadlines. 9. Respond to operational changes during off-peak hours, such as nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure IT continuity. 10. Maintain effective attendance for essential positions to ensure business continuity. 11. Based in Tokyo, you will travel or support remote users as needed. *Clearance of scope of legal changes to job duties: Job duties may change in the future. | Job Requirements |
[Application Requirements] 1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience, with at least 5 years of work experience in IT support. 2. Experience in user support for Windows and Mac OS operating systems and IT application systems (M365, DNS, email, printers, file sharing, VPN, video conferencing, etc.). Experience in M365 and Intune operations management is a plus. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.). 4. Ability to plan and execute tasks, with extensive knowledge of IT service processes and familiarity with ITSM systems. 5. Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting and an understanding of security systems, server rooms, air conditioning equipment, and environmental monitoring. 6. User-oriented service mindset. Ability to provide high-quality service and respond quickly to local internal users. 7. Knowledge and experience in office setup in Japan is a plus. 8. As communication with the Shanghai headquarters will be required, candidates who can speak Mandarin Chinese are welcome. 9. Able to handle system updates during off-peak hours such as nights, weekends, and holidays (not frequently). |
