Job Description As an AR Accounting Manager in the fashion industry, you will oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance with reporting, reconciliation, and closing tasks. Based in Tokyo, this role requires fluency in Japanese, business-level English, and expertise in AR accounting and related functions.


Description

* Manage accounts receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Perform monthly reconciliations and reporting for AR accounts.
* Oversee closing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of processes.
* Support audit and tax requirements by preparing necessary documentation.
* Develop and maintain cash forecasts for effective financial planning.
* Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members as needed.


Profile

A successful AR Accounting Manager should have:

* Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
* Strong expertise in AR accounting, reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
* Experience with closing tasks and supporting audit and tax requirements.
* Knowledge of cash forecasting and financial planning principles.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work within tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in accounting systems and relevant tools.
