Job Description This AP Assistant Accounting Manager role in Tokyo no only focuses on overseeing accounts payable functions, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency in financial processes. But also in a new project that takes care of automating AP and expanse work flows with AI. This is a key position, requiring expertise in SAP, expense and vendor management.


Description

* Manage and oversee the accounts payable (AP) process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Lead the project to automate expense and vendor management using AI tools.
* Handle expense management using tools like SAP and Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies.
* Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
* Coordinate with vendors to manage relationships and resolve payment-related issues effectively.
* Lead and mentor team members to enhance productivity and ensure operational excellence.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline accounting processes.
* Support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal standards.


Profile

A successful AP Assistant Accounting Manager should have:

* Proficiency in English and Japanese to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong experience with SAP and Concur for managing accounting and expense processes.
* Expertise in AP accounting, including vendor management and payment processing.
* Knowledge of treasury functions and balance sheet reconciliation.
* Leadership skills to manage and guide a team towards achieving goals.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities within the accounting and finance domain.
