Job Description This is an Infrastructure Engineer role to develop and operate "Monitoring as a Service" within a large private cloud. You'll help build a scalable and reliable observability platform using Kubernetes, Prometheus, and other modern technologies-supporting internal teams across one of Japan's largest tech ecosystems.


Description

* Develop and operate internal observability platform
* Design, implement, and maintain metrics/alerting systems at large scale
* Handle production incidents, troubleshooting, and on-call duties
* Gather requirements and design scalable platform features
* Conduct reviews and documentation for system design
* Collaborate on improving features with AI and automation in mind


Profile

* Strong infrastructure knowledge (Kubernetes, Linux, Networking, Containers)
* Experience with observability tools
* Hands-on development in Golang or Python, preferably for distributed systems
* Experience designing system architecture and documenting it
* Operations/maintenance experience for observability systems
* Ability to logically analyze and structure complex issues
